RMWP Youth Writing Contest
Contest Rules
Print the Contest Rules: Youth Writing Contest Guidelines
- Students may choose to write in prose or poetry form.
- Essays or poems will be accepted from current 3rd-8th grade students
- Submitted work must address the topic: “Participating in Our World”
- Submitted work can be typed, printed or cursive, in ink and written on front side of an 8.5×11” sheet of paper, 2 page maximum.
Students must print the following information on a separate sheet behind the last page of their entry:
- Name, age
- Home address, telephone number, email address
- Name of school, grade
- School address
- Teacher’s name and principal’s name
- Submit entries to tperry@uab.edu or via mail to:
